Last winter Maggie lost a mitten ice skating. We looked and looked but eventually had to go home one mitten short. Since that day I’ve had the yarn all ready to knit a replacement but never got around to it. This morning’s frigid temps plus a girl quickly outgrowing all her other mittens was just the push I needed to finally get the project done. After all, I’m a fast knitter.
I started the mitten this morning and hunkered down with tea and Netflix in order to get the comrade knit before Maggie came home from school. Unfortunately, when you put more than a year between two mittens of a pair, it’s hard to achieve perfection.
My guess is that it’ll just take a snowball fight or two to even things out.
